She was more eminently distinguished
Even in the Bloom of Youth and Beauty
By the undeviating rectitude
Of her religious, moral and social Duty.
With Christian patience and constancy (?)
She endured the protracted suffering
Of a painful and wasting disease
And at length with meek resignation
and pious hope
Yielded up her spirit to HIM that gave it,
on the 4th day of December 1821,
in the 24th year of her age.
