Ingram, William
In Latin: Master William Ingram, of the illustrious family of Ingrams, had the honour of knighthood conferred upon him by King James, was the oldest of that order in Yorkshire, rich in charity and zealous for the true worship of the Church of England. He died on the 25th August and was buried in this place on the 27th August AD 1670, in the reign of Charles II. I die daily, not all at once. [Translation courtesy of York Minster records.]
