Grace, Martha

Here lyeth the body of Martha Grace, daughter to John Tayler of the Devises, Gent., wife to Edward Grace of this city, draper, who deceased the 14 of Sept. 1676, anno aetatis suae 32. Grace she bare in her name and in her heart./ Martha by Grace here chose the better part./ It were a crime to say that Grace is dead;/ Onely from this vile earth to heaven is fled./ She's raised from the foot-stool to the throne./ T'was Grace  in bud, 'tis glory now full blown.
