Fulham, Catharine

In Latin: Sacred to the memory of Catharine, eldest daughter and coheir of George Evelyn de Wootton in the county of Surrey, esquire, spouse to George Fulham, prebendary of this church. This much-loved woman, who from a young age showed exceptional piety, singular virtue, prudence, benignity and candour of manners, who lived a life of the greatest grace, most dear to her friends, and earning the praise of all, died prematurely, struck down by a disease of the head about four days after the birth of her second child. Always to be mourned; having lived very well, she died on the twenty-third of October, 1699. Next to its mother lies William Fulham, an infant of two months.
