Arnwaye, Thomas
Interred here in grave both Thomas Arnwage lye
Who in his life tyme loved the poore & and in that love did dye
Fore what he left, to helpe the poore: he did devise the same,
Not idell folke, but such as would them selves to goodnes frame.
The thriftie people by his will that in this parish dwell
Fyve pounds for ther comforte may have if yt they use it well
From yeare to yeare if carefullie they looke unto their charge.
Of such men as this Arnewage was. God make their number large.
