Radcliffe, Jaspar

In Latin: Elizabeth and Rebecca, of whom one lived 16 months, the other 9 months, (daughters of Jaspar Radcliffe of Franklin, merchant) are buried here. Here also are deposited the remains of Jaspar Radcliffe of Franklin, esquire, father of the same daughters, whose piety, patience, temperance, and integrity of character—if you, reader, seriously reflect upon them— cannot but make you such as we know him to have been: a true disciple of Jesus Christ. He died on November 27, in the 68th year of his age, in the year of the Christian era 1704.
