lie Anne and Frances,
wives of Francis Barrell, Esquire,
of the County of Cambridge.
The former, daughter of Thomas Pearse, Esquire,
after bringing three children into the light,
died October 30th, 1734.
The latter, daughter of Thomas Bowdler, Esquire,
while giving birth, about to give life to her child,
lost her own life June 15th, 1736.
They were women of the highest excellence,
worthy to be admired by their peers,
and to be praised by posterity.
Pious daughters, [probae] sisters , modest wives,
and most devout in divine worship.
