Howman, Edward

In Latin: To Edward Howman, M.D.: A man of integrity, pious in the evangelical faith, and liberal, one of the foremost in the practice of medicine, skilled, experienced, and faithful, who, though conqueror of so many diseases, at last fell, not to illness but to old age on the Ides of February, A.D. 1753. He lived 75 years. His grieving son Roger placed (this monument) to the best of fathers.
