By his writings, titled Religio Medici, And Pseudodoxia Epidemica, and others, He became most widely known throughout the world. A man most pious, of greatest integrity, most learned. He died October 19, 1682. His most sorrowful wife, Lady Dorothy Browne, piously placed [this memorial].
